It is about 9 foot something above street level, the picture is quite deceptive, the drive is awful steep and not all cars can make it up, and God forbid it's a lower one it scrapes all the back/bottom. But yes I do see a lot of obstacles, but have seen it done similarly nearby. Just thinking...

We would like to build an extension with 3 floors, with the first floor being like a basement garage, meaning digging up the drive, other 2 floors will be level to the existing house. Single storey extension round the back budget permitting, so would be looking to dig up most of the garden...
