I bought a flat last year, the vendor said the boiler was in good working condition and had been serviced regularly, when I had it serviced myself I was told it was an illegal and dangerous boiler and could not be used. I had to replace the boiler. Can I claim back from the previous owner ?

I had a real plumbing disaster after I tried my hand at a bit of DIY which resulted in my central heating packing in. I found a really great company called Leakbusters on a website called www.thetradesmensdirectory.co.uk. I use it whenever I need a tradesman, and they've never let me down!! :D
