Cannt get dado rail on stairs to straighten. Going crazy!

So I discovered which I didn't realise was the bottom of my rail is not 1m from top step I must of tried to leave room to cut away later. It's a bit up the rail, so I cut this at 21 degrees and it was almost right but a gap at the top of the mitre. Tried 23 and 24 and having the same issue. Do...

Cannt get dado rail on stairs to straighten. Going crazy!

Thanks for that. So the angle I put the dado rail on must be wrong as I tried a 70 degree cut earlier and it was a fair bit off. How can I find the angle with it currently on the wall? I have a trend digital angle finder. My wife worked out the angles so she must of either worked it out wrong...

What can I seal up this flashing with?

I live in NI so things are generally a bit cheaper here than UK. It's not expensive, it's just expensive to me as I don't have a lot of money hence trying to DIY everything. It will be a couple of months before I can afford it.

What can I seal up this flashing with?

Hi folks. Posted a while back about the flashing on my garage roof which is split and leaking. It's an oil fired boiler flue. I've tried to seal it up with gutter sealant which worked temporarily but after a few heat cycles it goes again. Some forum users gave great suggestions on replacing...

    Drainage help - suggestions welcome!

How does this look. Gulleys Square in red, feeding to a channel drain in orange so it catches the rain water/run off as all water flows down there from my large concrete pad, then pipe in red again to a soakaway at bottom of garden

This driveway is like 50 years...

Best thing to treat fence posts then paint ontop?

Thanks for the help earlier in the week on fixing my fence. Its 90% back together now I've got every thing ready to go but I haven't filled the holes back in yet ontop of the post crete. I'd really like to paint the fence a nice green or grey colour as it's a 10 year old wooden panel fence...
