I've had my Dimplex optimyst blk heater since around 2012. The main issue I had just after warranty expired was corrosion of lamp holders. A new assembly cost an extortionate £80 and suffered same defect after a while. So like others I sourced ceramic holders for a few £'s and no now fit my own...
