Hi Harry, thank you. I have just established that the inner drum is off center. I removed the door seal from the drum and the noise stopped straight away. I am now out of my depth as I am not sure what caused the drum to be off-center. It may be bearings.. but beyond my skillset. Thanks again...

My W5741 Miele washing machine is making a scraping noise when the drum turns. Its not metal on metal but may be from rubber or plastic catching something. Its doesn't do it for the full 360 degrees. Thank you for any advice.
