That’s not my complaint. My complaint is the plumber tested the water in my radiators & there was no trace of Rust inhibitor in the water. Linden homes said in black & white print my heating system had Rust & frost inhibitor put in it. Wrong

Linden Homes never fitted magnetic filter to boiler. I have an FOS complaint against Nhbc as Rust inhibitor never added to the boiler system & 5 radiators now have holes from rusting from inside out. Nhbc trying to get out of this saying boiler has a limited warranty.

Do you have to tell your boiler service person to add Rust inhibitor every service? As I’ve never been asked about having it added.

I thought there was a 2006 regulation that all new boilers had to have a magnetic filter fitted-so how do New Builds get away from doing that?
