Almost done before and after

I paid 950 for mine no lid and 2 ceilings got water damage and cost 400 to replace lol So 1350 all in so was worth the risk

I could not justify the cost to have a lid pit over the scaffolding cost is stupid

Now gotta hope it’s all ok for Friday with 45-50mph winds

Oh I only have the crane for 4 hours but don’t seem to have as many trusses as u I have 9 singles and 2 doubles only There will be me and 3 chippys that do trusses roofs For A living fitting them so I’m hoping it’s long enough

How long did you have the crane for Mines comming on the 14th ish 4.2 meters tall Got the crane for 4 hours but I have only 9 singles and 2 doubles to get up on the roof The rest is cut on site I have raised my wall plate by 75mm as to clear the old ceiling joists

Well having taking some of my roof off My house has no straps at all on the original roof which is shocking as it’s only 15 years old So looks like I got to add them now as well which means damaging all the bedroom walls

Don’t get what you mean a raised tie attick truss mate they are as the pic below just a normal triangle And I will be propping the existing ceilings up inside so they can be walked on and a step ladder be put on so they can be unlashed ok

It’s not a hipped roof it was a hipped roof not going to be now no Truss company said there in packs as well I’m just saying what the crane operator said and what the Chippy's said And the crane is a 30meter hiab lorry 10 trusses in total
