    I would do this if I could but as i'm on a hill the garage is lower than the first floor floorboards. looks like armoured cable might be best. could it be normal pvc wire down the wall, and then go into a box and come out armoured across the floor. how deep would it need to be ?

    Filter is clear, water supply is fine. I have done a test on solenoid and cannot get it to work so think it is the problem. Have ordered a new one (£30!) so will see how that goes.... If it doesn't work, I will bin it and get a decent one.. cdjockey
