    Lead flashing to hip

It needs to be a closed mitre hip as suggested or an inverted hip. With the inverted you would have the left side acting like a valley and the right side hanging over like it is just now. The lead also need to be a good bit wider than it currently is.

    GRP dry valley question

Never seen a valley like it in Scotland. I'd much rather have the upstand at the side. Then again we don't use closed valleys up here.

    GRP dry valley question

Just so you know that's not a valley they have put in. It's a bonding gutter, the fact they can't tell the difference tells you all you need to know. https://hambleside-danelaw.co.uk/products/dry-fix-bonding-gutter-high-profile/

    Is this asbestos (sarking)?

If the roof is off it comes off no problem. If you just want to patch it to hold it up you can use wood to hold it up, just cut it and secure it in between the trusses.

    Which Tile Please

    Could be a Russell Pennine

    Is this asbestos (sarking)?

It was a board made by celotex, it wasn't insulation. Same size as an osb board but they shrink over time and sag badly.

    Is this asbestos (sarking)?

It was commonly used in Scotland. Having removed them 100s of times and my dad having fitted them originally I can confirm it is.

    Is this asbestos (sarking)?

It's made from around 90/95% cellulose, unsure on the other 10/5%

    Is this asbestos (sarking)?

It's an old celotex board you have.

    Opinions on this leadwork please

Not necessarily, depends on experience with that one. An older lead worker is more likely to boss it instead of pulling all his gear up for a small job. I'm aware due to being a leadworker. My city and guilds training course was a 5 day one and we certainly didn't use code 4 for a hopper.

    Opinions on this leadwork please

I'm not disagreeing with the work being poor but the lack of lead welding isn't the reason. Any good leadworker can boss a chimney like this easily.

    increasing headlap on reclaimed slates

11 is maybe too low for slates unfortunately, you can use this https://www.permavent.co.uk/products/easy-slate/ which can go to 12 or 10 with cement fibre slates

    Gable end cap

That's just a standard bit of UPVC fascia

New roof looks a bit dodgy??

It looks like they missed the copper rivets in the slates that have lifted, ask them to sort it.

    Roof ridge

Completely pointless, will not help you in any way.

    Roof ridge

So you want to use a hip support tray at the ridge on a flat tile? Why?

    Flapping Felt

DPC would flap, a better option is 5U felt.

Anti mould & moss sealant for roof tiles?

Don't "seal" your roof, you would be cutting off natural ventilation.

£3,000 to repair pinhole leaks in lead flashing?

So you've used the wrong term for years and just going to go with it when others tell you you are wrong, cool. I'll let all the roofers working with me and the lead workers that I get in know they are wrong.
