    GRP Roof Smell

Thank you, I mean I’ve been airing the room the roof is on. It seems to have gone now after sealing a small gap inside.

    Tree stumps

I dug out with a spade and a tool off Amazon called a mattock. I didn’t have electric saw so just cut roots with secateurs, Small hand saw etc. I then used the mattock to get under some area and put weight on it.

Wood burner bin for garden ?

I’d go with a drum too, I’ve had this one since 2018, I keep the lid on after a burn to preserve the inside of it.

    Tree stumps

I would just dig them out, I know some can be absolutely turd to do, but I’ve done three now and they were a lot easier once started. It would be another story if a big oak or something but they are quite small.

    Battery to USB Power Pack

Thank you FrodoOne. I’ve ordered the eliminator that RandomGrinch suggested as it was cheap and worth a try. If that don’t work out, I’ll definitely be buying rechargeable batteries. I do like the idea of soldering something maybe a jack port and connecting to a power bank so will look further.

    Battery to USB Power Pack

Good afternoon, I have a rotisserie that is powered by 2 x 2D batteries, I would like to run it from a power bank. I wouldn’t mind tinkering with it to get a good solution. Could anyone offer a solution? Thank you.

Strange noise from 2011 VW polo

I’d change mechanics, they’ve changed your brakes and had your car overnight and still don’t know. They seem to guess about everything. Does sound like the brake deflection for rain though.

    Stock market dealing

I think it’s a case of, if it was that easy everyone would be doing it. Most people need to be spoon fed instructions on how to do simple things, and trading just blows their minds. Maybe you could do a YouTube tutorial showing me how it’s done

Replacing a brick wall (effort and costs involved)

I wouldn’t even think of replacing it, unless it’s cracked and bits dropping off. Ask a bricklayer for a quote for remedial works such as replacing pointing and maybe capping the top off. Surveyors speculate, if you plan to use this a a way to get money off the property, it’s different to...

    Hang curtains on rsj problems

Don’t use an impact driver either, as that puts to much torque on the screw. Try as above and use a bigger hole.
