Any advice on what should be done with plastic conduits before painting them with matt emulsion? They are covered in some old paint, but only partially. I wonder how well matt emulsion paint will stick onto it…? :?:

In my bathroom there is a 3-4 mm gap between the skirting board and the floor tiles. Should I use caulk to fill in this gap? J

Forgot to mention that the actual whole is about 50 cm long and 15 cm wide at its widest. It is about 30 cm from the side. For redoing the whole ceiling I was quoted over £1000…! J
