No it's, anti snap etc.etc. and was a real pain to remove. Good help you if you have issues with an even more secure version of their locks.

Just had exactly the same experience with a Yale 1 star in my rear patio doors. Fortunately I was able to unlock the other door then pull them both open just enough to remove the retaining built from the new Yale 1 star. Thought I was doing the correct thing buy installing such a secure lock...
