Will it do anything to the boiler if I tighten it/turn it off. And if the leak is coming from there what would happen if I left it? Ive noticed the less pressure on the boiler the less water comes out. Thanks for all ur help, its greatly appreciated.

So if I turn the automatic air vent off it might stop the drip? Also how would I managed to turn it off?

Would that be something that would have to be replaced anytime soon, or would it be ok as long as everythings working? In the photo its a drip of water thats on it? Not sure if thats what u mean, but thats where the dripping is coming from.

Ive managed to get a better photo of it if thats any help.
