    Brickwork on a post knocked out of line by 10mm.Used a car jack and timber to lift and realign a corner post on the house ( wife backed the car into it). Removed mortar on the perps and injected resin to fix the brickwork then made good with a little mortar .

    Limescale would be very unusual from a shower , usually hair and soap scum build up . Proprietary drain unblockers usually work with a thorough flush afterwards.

    You could use plasterboard , or a wall board which would also act as a splashback .If you go with plasterboard you only need 9mm as it’s cosmetics . You would need to compare prices for plasterboard, tile and adhesive versus a wall panel and adhesive .
