What to do about the roof?

My goal is to sell the property, possibly early to mid 2026.

What to do about the roof?

Can I ask your reason for saying that?

What to do about the roof?

I have a 1907 4 bedroom detached property with a clay tile roof. There are lots of missing tiles. Do you think the roof is repairable? Opinions welcome.

    What stain for this wood?

For the posts, I am assuming you need to sand it a little before putting the stain on? What about the wooden tiles that have gone pale, do I need to sand those too?

    What stain for this wood?

I am renovating the exterior of my 1907 property. The wood has not been stained in countless years, so I want to rectify that. You can see from the photos the dark colour at the top of the wooden post in the first image, and how the other post has gotten much lighter. What stain would you...

Anyone recommend telescopic pole and scraper/brush for moss on roof?

I read a review where some guy said he thought the docazoo brushes were too soft, but he tried a nylon brush one from draper. It is arriving this afternoon so will have the opportunity to test it out. Not sure about the thread, but the review guy used it so somehow he has gotten it to work. It...

Anyone recommend telescopic pole and scraper/brush for moss on roof?

How did you attach an old brush head to the pole? I presume the old brush head had a hole that the docapole inserted into and you just used the gaffa tape to keep it in place? I'm thinking if I had a wooden brush head, would that be too heavy for the end of the docapole.

Anyone recommend telescopic pole and scraper/brush for moss on roof?

Yes, I forgot, despite posting about the adaptor earlier. Good point!

Anyone recommend telescopic pole and scraper/brush for moss on roof?

I think the issue is that standard extension poles over here use the EU standard, while the docapole has US standards.

Anyone recommend telescopic pole and scraper/brush for moss on roof?

That looks ideal, but does it fit the docapole? The docapole uses a US sized thread, as opposed to EU sizes. I cannot see any information on the thread size.

Anyone recommend telescopic pole and scraper/brush for moss on roof?

I bought a docapole and also want to scrape moss off the roof. It is quite thick moss. I'm trying to work out how to attach a scraper with gaffer tape to the pole. Any suggestions? I have come across an adapter that I hope fits the docapole, which converts from acme to euro thread. Any ideas...

Aqualisa Quartz Digital shower now only lukewarm

I will leave it as it is. I'm only living here for about 1 more year.

Aqualisa Quartz Digital shower now only lukewarm

I am not sure if the controller button is stuck or not. The blue light was always on with my old controller. Same with the new controller. So I think the probability is that it is unlikely to be a fault with the controller but perhaps the unit that receives the signals.

I was concerned that the controller might be tricky to slide off, as I had read. It wasn't. The boost button is still stuck on, despite it being a new controller, which makes me think that function might be something to do with the pump unit in the attic, but I can live with that.

Aqualisa Quartz Digital shower now only lukewarm

Update: I replace the controller unit from the supplier recommended by @Elkato531. It only took 5 to 10 minutes. Now, I'm having my first hot showers in years! Aqualisa wanted to charge me £500 for a repair. The unit cost me £100. Feeling smug!

Thanks for recommending that supplier. It is significantly cheaper than going direct to Aqualisa and lower even than Amazon. It is worth a punt.

Aqualisa Quartz Digital shower now only lukewarm

I had a look but could not see any filters. I disconnected the hot water inlet pipe and looked down it. I expected to see a visible mesh on there but saw no such thing. Phoned Aqualisa but they either want me to upgrade to a new system or spend about £500 to have someone come and repair. So, I...

Aqualisa Quartz Digital shower now only lukewarm

I saw a "Aqualisa 910751 Button Shower Controller" on amazon for £115. It looks similar to my old one but not identical. I wonder if I bought that perhaps I could replace the old one. Maybe that is one for the customers services to tell me if it is compatible or not. To check the blocked inlet...
