Hi, Just had a lad re position radiator pipes ready for my new radiators. He capped off both pipes however when I put the central heating on this morning I noticed both capped pipes are cold ? Is this normal when no radiators are attached ? Or could he have installed a valve under the floor...

My strip footings are 20meters x 1300mm deep x 600mm wide, there will be two men, 1.5 ton digger & skip loader, the skip and footings are within 10 meters so no access restrictions at all. Could someone please give me an idea on how many days in dry weather this should take ? Many thanks
