    Why dont you undo the front of the overflow then drop off the whole thing. Drop a piece of string though and use that to pull a new overflow up. Refit cover and Robs your mothers brother.

    Unless the pipes and rads look gash you are being had over. The system has to be flushed cos its the rules so sludge is not an issue, in addition the warantee is carried by the manufacturer not the installer. Wake up smell the beans and phone a few more.

    Demon Tweeks do a 4 inch stainless one with DTM end pipes it is quite expensive but it looks the mutts bits.

    Same here and they have been into my garden and had a good look round as well as stealling a few bits of scrap. I now have a HWC with a booby trapped can of petrol in it. If I get a cooked TGB I will post a picture.

    Raden you are mistaken it is not aceptable for anyone who is not registered or compitent to do any gas work. It is of no interest if profit is involved or not. This mistake is very common. If it were true all unregistered guys would charge £3000 to pipe up a rad a throw in a free boiler.
