Hi WIJCC, All, Thanks for your help. That last video, the German one, was perfect. The front swings open, just like you said and is shown in the video. I managed to get the new shock absorbers/dampers fitted in the same way as is shown in the video. Thank you very much!

Hi, wijcc. Many thanks for the link. I tried this but the front panel isn't attached the same way. There are no screws behind the acrylic fascia and it's not obvious how to get this off. There does seem to be a clip inside, just behind this on the far right, but it still doesn't come away even...
