Thank you for replies, I heard the boiler sounding like it was firing up and stopping whilst shower in use so I'll double check that, thank you! And no, no water issues before work was done

I believe it's a combi (I'll check) and yes all water outlets are affected, old shower/bath and new shower. It's hot for 30 seconds, colder for 30 seconds and so on
