Pump is still turning and working and i can't see any debris visible

Hi. After shutting off the hot water to replace a tap in the kitchen, i turned the hot water back on and my pump (wilogold 50)seems to be running very hot to the touch. Ive shut it down for now as i'm pretty sure it will damage it to carry on using it. Can anyone confirm what the normal...
