Thanks so much for everyone for the help! I went to the local plumb shop and in the end they recommend I just get the trap. Then come back if that wasn't enough. I changed that over and tightened the plug as that was loose and all seems to be ok! Super grateful thank you

Thanks so much for the explanation, that's really helpful. I'm keen to replace the u bend with the correct one. I will have a look at the link to find one there. I can also pop to a plumb shop also to double check I buy the right one!

Thanks Andy, when you say 'trap' - I Googled it and it shows a waste pipe. Is this something additional? Just so I'm sure

I I have just noticed a leak coming from the underside of the bath panel. After taking the panel off I can't work out if it's coming from the fixing aligned to the bath waste/plug. This is the second issue I've had with this bath, last time it was cheap fittings. Would anyone have any...
