    High Ze - Low Zs

I know the discussion has moved on a little from the original point....but if anyone is interested the distributor has informed me that it is supposed to be a TT system (which didn't have a earth electrode). However they have now offered to convert it to a TNC-S system. They have confirmed...

    High Ze - Low Zs

I know this is a DIY site and so this might be a little beyond what should be posted on here, however i'd really like some opinions on this! Went to look at a system today, earthing arrangement appeared to be TN-S however the earth connection wasn't sweated onto the cable but connected via a...

    Calculating maximum demand

I've managed to come up with the figure of 99.24 A ;-) Mainly by classing the Shower circuit as "Power and heating" rather than "instant water heater". Thanks a lot for the advice, sometimes it just really helps to get another opinion.

    Calculating maximum demand

Yeah totally i agree, the problem i'm having is wondering what figure i'm supposed to the record. The guidelines specifically state not to simply write the rating of the main circuit breaker as the maximum demand. Thanks for replying

    Calculating maximum demand

In my attempt to ask a billion questions on this board!!!... Here's the next corker thats puzzling me. I'm attempting to work out maximum demand in my house using OSG guidelines My lighting circuits draw a maximum of 975W so 66% of that gives 3.3A Fixed alarm circuit drawing a maximum...
