existing pump is a Grundfos UPS 15-50 N 130 set at No.3 flow rate

double checked (infact about quadzillion checked !!) wiring in JBox for connections to mid pos, valves and room and tank stats, to boiler. all as per spec. It seems to come back to flow when just CH selected, even though pump is powered and running aven though allm rads getting hot ? nd system...

But all rads are getting hot, suggesting that circ pump is ok, and spindle spins freely. Not sure on pump age the boiler is shutting down within couple of secs. Not even ideal can get a boiler to raise temp that quickly !

removed cyl stat which is a basic mechanical 3 contact type. common, norm closed and norm open, this all fine when tested

Madrab As in my or post, all rads get hot when CH and DHW selected sytem DOES shut down when cylinder stat satisfied

existing system, new build from 12 years ago. As per original installation. There is no mag filter madrab - I totally agree something not right. I cannot get my head around there being a call ( c ) on boiler display whether on HW only or CH, and the boiler somehow differentiating c for CH only...

It's a corgi, Yes taken off control head. Valve moving fine as is control head and providing correct switched SL output on orange dependent on motor position. Confusing

Hi. Perfect info SL stays at 240, also confirmed by c on boiler even though burner will not light. I have checked 3 port, orange only live when both grey and white live. Confirmed this out of cct, by checking continuity and manually moving valve

Thanks for reply. Pump is from boiler When just CH selected, pump switches on and is circulating, with 0 changing to c after about 10s. At the same time c appears SL goes to 240v. Blue light comes on for a few secs , then off. If then HW selected, then boiler lights, pumps stays on, and flow...
