Again thanks for your reply...I think I'm going to run it for a few days just to see if and how many times it trips my RCD. I bought the element about 6 months ago to change but didn't get round to doing it and so has been stored in garage. Hopefully using it will dry out any moisture present...

Thanks for your reply...as a follow on...the top grill tripped RCD within a couple of minutes...reset the RCD and the grill took about 5 minutes to trip...once reset again the grill has stayed on for about an hour with no RCD trip....very confusing...any ideas?

Hi...I have exactly the same problem as Andy Thomas above...replaced the element yesterday...top oven still works fine but the grill is still tripping my RCD. Admittedly it stays on longer before tripping. Thermostat maybe ??? Any ideas would be welcome.
