    Thanks again I have run bonding from the MET to the incoming water pipe and then without breaking the cable to my gas inlet after the meter. Thus i only have this 10mm earth run and 16mm to my consumer unit in the MET block. Just waiting for the DNO to come and upgrade the theirs to 16mm...

    Cheers Securespark I think i will sleeve. Can you enlighten me on the labelling. The Garage Consumer Unit is on the non rcd side of the unit and the garage consumer unit has an RCD in it. Through much research i thought this was the way to do it? T&I and MET labelling?

    Hozza I have just had a PIR done for a house i am buying in Rotherham, i paid £150+vat. Sounds like a similar installation with lights and sockets up and down on the same circuit. Suffice to say it did not pass, no rcd protection on downstairs sockets. Overloaded circuits etc etc...
