    we are in northumberland which I think is a soft water area,I don't know about any inhibitors in the system.I think i'm going to try to turn the temperature down but leave it on continuous ,this should keep the circulation going and stop bubbles forming?. worth a try anyway. John

    Thanks for the replies. The boiler is a Baxi inset 2 Back boiler,I think it must be gravity fed as there is no pump I can see just two large pipes going to the cylinder in the loft,the pump only runs when the heating is turned on. John
