Thanks for the help guys I will remove gate valve on feed to boiler saved me work that I didn’t need

I just presumed I needed one because it had a vent tapped of the pipework where the heating pipes went into coil on hot water cylinder before it was removed

I have a vented central heating with no hot water cylinder my boiler and pump is in shed outside pipes run up stairs through the bedrooms to radiators then down to radiators on ground floor I have no vent pipe in system expansion tank is in loft to fit a vent pipe can I move pump up stairs...

Hi looking for information on how to sort out my heating system so I do not heat the hot water cylinder I only want my oil boiler to do the central heating only currently is a vented pumped system
