thanks..... still somewhat confused looking at diagram. Perhaps it needs to be spelt out to me. Switch upstairs has has 2 cables. 1 x red, green/yellow. red connected to COM 1 x black, red. connected to L1 L2 In the downstairs switch where does the red wire strap connect between?

hi, I was in the process of replacing a switch when after distraction I didnt make note of what wires went where. OK. the switch(es) control the hallway downstairs and landing lights. Downstairs (the one being replaced) has 2 rocker switches - one for hall and the other for landing...
