    I belive it is throughout the house, including under carpets and it does seem very think for an adhesive.

    Does anyone have any ideas what this 15mm blackish layer is on top of a 1970s bungalow. Assume it is for insulation / waterproofing? Need as much space for UFH as possible so what would you recommend I replace this with?
