Wife went to cook the tea and no gas! I did a double take and realised that when I was messing with the boiler electrics I had the gas shut down. So Gas on and boiler is back in business! One pack of fuses from Maplin £1.99 and slight embarressment! Thanks to all.

I have observed the boiler clicking and it sparks at the same time over the burners but with no success as there appears to be no gas for the spark to ignite. You mention the gas valve will take out the pcb, would this have caused the fuse to blow in the first place?

The ignition sequence appears ok and have observed the sparking with the cover off, so would you suggest the valve, if so is it a major heartache.
