I got the floor down, went for 3mm dpm then laid boards directly on top. Problems encountered with laying though 1: the boards are far from perfect with a small error of a few mm in board widths (158mm > 162mm) is this normal? 2: the error in board widths meant that i couldn't get a tight fit...

one other question before i lay this flooring, should i be using tension straps or some kind of clamp during instalation or will i get away with just chapping the T+G together with rubber/wooden mallet and check each joint is tightly fitted together?
