- I want these in my new kitchen, (4.2m x 3m). I thought 6 lights evenly spaced (2 rows of 3) with maybe 2 x 18w G24D lamps. Trouble is I can't calculate the wattage necessary. i.e 2x13w, 2 x 26w etc.etc. Anyone out there familiar with the output of these & what wattage is required?

Thanks j-, I have slates, tyvec then 150mm air gap. Do I need the EXTRA 25mm between the plasterboard too?

Is there any way to avoid having 25mm battens between the plasterboards and the tri-iso, e.g. foil backed boards?

My building inspector wants 100mm insulation between the ceiling joists of all floors to 40dB spec. There are plenty of 600mm rolls about but I have 400mm centres so Isowool is ruled out. No local stockists of Crown Acoustic Joist Rolls and Rockwool flexi is very expensive. Any suggestions...

My plasterer says the socket and switch boxes on first fix are too deep (25mm) for cement plaster (12.5mm). I tried chiselling 12.5 cavities but found the concrete blocks are hollow so the chisel goes straight through. Any solution to have flush sockets would be very welcome
