    Actually its mid/late '99 :) So you reckon B&Q ... were you thinking just a replacement piece of pipe, or a specific bathroom fitting with a base and that odd contraption at the top ?

    My bathroom sink is currently supported by a chrome pillar, pictures below. Anyone know if I can simply buy a replacement pillar somewhere (I want to raise the sink) ? Or would I need to get it made ? Any help appreciated.

    My bathroom sink is definitely too low for me and I want to move it up ... but I'm really not sure what the right height should be. I'm tall ... 6'2" and I'm the only one living here so I can make it completely suit myself. The lip of the sink is about 31" off the floor, and the plughole...
