I have a 1996 golf SE wich runs fine. However when braking hard coming to a stop the revs have a tendency to drop and stall the engine, led to believe it may be a split hose or vacuum pipe ? any kind soul care to further speculate
Thanks
When I went to this boiler it was very late in the day
I think I will replace the coil, clean the photocell and go from there
Must have been late if you didnt have time to check the cell :P
If the boiler is moved to a place of your liking maybe you could get your neighbour to hook up to your heating system.........Will you still hear it?
Loony Tunes is now playing..................
Have you tried this...
Turn of the oil supply and remove the control box with a small piece of cable link out the incoming 240v supply and the coil feed (solenoid) you should hear a click to verify the solenoid is working. BE CAREFUL
My guess is the vent on the towel rad is blocked as a blockage in the feed pipe would result in the rail not working at all.
shut both flow and return valves on the rail and remove the vent pin, stiak a pin or needle in the vent hole and try venting again.
