Thanks for the help I went in to it and found that it was not the washer but a wire was loose on the dryer recpticale causin the plastic to melt and put off a strong odor.A good idea to check things out if i had not repaired this i could have had a bad fire Thanks again

When wife is washing clothes we have a acid like odor coming from the laundry room we think its a sewer odor the drain works ok but the odor really burns our eyes andmakes our throat sore. Thanks for any advice Kelvin
