The rendering on the outside wall is flaky, but it was like that when we bought the house last year before we had the damp proofing done and it hasn't got any worse. The outside wall is otherwise in good condition. No cracks, no damp patches. :?

The downpipe from the roof guttering on the house I recently bought empties directly on to the ground (it has a shoe end) and not in to a drainage hole. Is this a problem or can I leave it as it is? :?
