Thanks for that Chris. Have turned spout to left as feels slacker at that side. Feels difficult/tight to come out. :( Presume as this is v.hard water area that it will be scaled badly? Should I rock it back and forward or just a steady pull upwards? All help gratefully received ! Cheers. PS...

If the centre spout on a kitchen mixer does not have a retaining screw or collar how is it removed from the base ????????????????

I am replacing an old shower mixer tap with new. When the old is removed it will leave 1/2 inch threaded ends which will need fixing to 22mm tails on the new. I will be using flexible pipe/hose whatever to make this connection. What do I ask for.......................!!
