    Ahh no, good thought, but the flow rate is fine, both hot and cold, all taps and shower. It really does seem like it's under-sensitive, needing a lot of flow before it notices there's a request for hot water.

    A failed diverter valve? I take your point, I won't tell the plumber their job. The boiler seems fine otherwise, it heats up water anyway!

    Ha ha, yeah he really didn't seem interested in fixing it. But to be fair he didn't charge me for his time either, so I can't complain. Diaphragm holed / stretched... How hard is it to get a new diaphragm fitted? Should I really be thinking new boiler?
