Ah, ok, anyway, its a boiler in the kitchen that does hot water and heating, assumed it was a combi boiler but maybe that's something all together different. So, will draining the system damage the immersion tank or cause me to bleed the radiators?

I need to fit new taps to my bath and basin. To drain both the hot and cold system do I just turn off the water supply for the cold supply, stop the tank in the loft re-filling by tying off the ball cock (hot supply) and running the taps until drained? Someone told me if I do this I would need...
