Thanks very much. The fault seems to be intermittent; I set it to rinse&spin again and the door opened. Will try the string trick next time when it finally gives up. Is the fault in a dodgy solenoid? Thanks again De1b0y

Can some kind person let me know where I can get access to the manual door release catch so I can empty the machine? Maybe someone could suggest why the door won't open. I read in another thread about a solenoid needing replacing. Is this the answer, and is it an easy task to do? Many...
