    im boxing in a concealed cistern, i had planned to use chip board or ply, then wall tile on top. From what i read hear i would be better off using flexible adhesive in case the wall flexes behind the wall hung pan ? What about the grout can you get flexible grout ? Cheers

    Im just about to box a cistern and wall hung pan in. i was wondering what type of wood to use myself, my first thought had been chipboard, but i take it thats no use either ? The frame im using to hang the pan on seems to have a bit of flex in it so I think it needs to be pretty stiff...

    i think i worked out what was going on.... the pipe wasnt sitting square in the joint so consequently the olive was not seated correctly, if that makes sense? On speakign to hep20 tech support they said they would always advise on using ptfe when joining compression to copper, not boss white...
