    It's in the off position - has been for about three weeks. Putting in a thremostat is not an option for this flat it would involve major chaos and the room temperatures differ so greatly we couldn't position it anywhere that would make sense

    Not possible! the internal switch has a slider which has broken so i cannot set it to being on permanently! I don't have any kind of thermostat - we have TRV's on all of the radiators instead. There is a loop between the terminals marked TT and TC.

    The internal timeswitch on my Biasi packed up recently so I went and bought an external timer. I have got all the mains wiring sorted but can someone tell me where i run the timer wire from the external switch to ? and what do i need to disconnect on the original switch?
