Well well after packing them up and reading your reply I thought screw it lets give it another go. I have sucessfully got one light to fire both tubes hooray.... going to try the other shortly. It appears one of the starters must be dead or something has a dent in it? But i'm sure I didn't...

Hmm looks like I will have to. Thing is though I bought them online, and i'm full time employed. So its an even bigger ball ache to call them and have them collect them/deliver new ones etc. Does seem weird to me though as each light has a different test date and has been signed as a pass by...

Apologies, the same side isn't working. No signs of life, even the ballast is cold so it seems there is just no flow? Obviously the ballast of the working lamp has begun to get warm.

I have wired them up to a socket just to test if they work before I go though the hassle of putting them up and then realising they are faulty. On both of...

    Leaking Valve

Hi people, I've come here as we are currently decorating our home and in the process we have taken off an old radiator in the living room. Since this, the valve is leaking slightly (just a drip-a-second). We have a combi boiler and I was wondering what to do. I have tried tightening the valve...

    Garden Sheds

Hmm not working and I really do not want to saw the wire. I just need a way to get the SWA itself off so the wire ends with no gland/connector.

    Garden Sheds

Made a decision earlier, it has been decided that we will not have power to the sheds at all as both will be removed for now and we will just use an extension cord for the lawnmower etc in the summer. So no power to the sheds. :( Everything has been disconnected but how do I remove the SWA...
