    expansion vessel - where's the car tyre type valve?

    Replaced pressure release valve (£10 from gas merchant). Pumped up to 1bar, with zero bar in the main system. Topped up water to 1.2 bar, and 1 bar still in the vessel. All looks to be working ok at the minute. Proof will be tomorrow morning, to see if there's still 1.2bar when it's cold...

    Cheers for the advice, corgiman. After taking half the kitchen apart, I've found the valve at the bottom right of the vessel. I've pumped it up a little, but water just comes out of the pressure release valve (3 bar one), with hardly any pressure in. I've taken the inside of this valve...

    Having a nightmare trying to get to it.... It's flush with the boiler unit at the front of it, the rear wall, and both cupboard sides.... arhhh. You'd have thought that they'd have made the top up valve near the front so it's a little easier... I'll try taking the cupboard to bits, see if...

    Hi, I'm hoping someone may be able to help, as I'm very cold right now! I've got a Ferroli F30. When turning on the CH, the pressure increases very high (over 3bar), and vents out through the safety valve. Then when cold, there is little pressure left. From reading other posts on this forum...
