Its a metal door with wood underneath

Trying to remove an old rain deflector which appears to be stuck to the door with no remaining screws. What is the best way to remove and loosen the glue, would a hairdryer work to heat it up? Thanks

Thanks for your help, it was a pump that I was suspecting. Hot water has now resumed though so not sure what the problem was now...

Can anyone help? I have a Gledhill Systemate and the hot water has just stopped. I have had a gradual decrease in hot water before (hard water area) and the heat exchanger had to be replaced but suddenly there is no hot water at all. No obvious faults or problems, any ideas? Will I need to call...
