Switch for a 6 core wire from ufh controller to boiler (edited)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help. I have a wire running from underfloor heating controller to the boiler. Sometimes the ufh controller loses signal to the wireless drayton wiser hub. When this happens, it automatically fires the boiler (to keep the pipes warm) in summer temperatures are...

    Baxi 800 Boiler T2AH 250V Fuse

Hi My boiler engineer advised that Baxi 800 series Boiler has 2 fuses (which he replaced it today) He advised me to keep a few spare just in case if it blows again and he does not have to wait for the parts to arrive as these are only a £2.00 max for a pack of 5 or so. He is a gas safe engineer...

Old Sky satellite in the tv amplifier

Old Sky satellite in the tv amplifier

Hi I was wondering if we can use an old sky satellite in the lab gear tv distribution box in the loft to feed the tv's in 4 different rooms? Water leaking from trv despite turned off

Thanks everyone. Hope the pipe does not get damaged if he has to cut the olive as he is coming in the evening. I am always worried when tradesmen men work on essential things like boiler, water pipes or electrics in the evening

Water leaking from trv despite turned off

Yes it is leaking from the thread just above the valve. I tried to tighten the thread but no joy. It has emptied the system, and I am left with no hot water or heating. The plumber is coming today evening to get this fixed. Hopefully will be sorted. Thank you.

    ERA home Guard Pro Alarm

Hi Secureiam, I understand and when I was thinking over, my reaction was the same. Visonic powermaster 360r can't be hard wired, (era is the same) the pir camera quality of visonic powermaster is crap (Era atleast provides 720p its not great as per today's standards) Visonic does not provide any...

Powermaster 360R Hard wire or power socket

Thanks Randomgrinch. It's just that I have never seen any alarm systems powered from sockets as such but I suppose things are changing all the time. The reason I prefer direct hardwire is because there is no accidently turning of the switch or if the power to the socket goes off, there is still...

hi Everyone, Would anyone be able to advise if ERA Homeguard Smart Pro is any good?
