Thanks, but it doesn't leak until you splash the water at the bottom of the tap. Just running the water doesn't make it leak. Any ideas?

I am trying to stop a leak from the joint of a monoblock tap against the sink. I do not have a large threaded nut to do up, just a single brass threaded bolt that has a horseshoe shaped plastic washer and clamp. Can anyone advise how to stop this leaking down under the sink?
