    Bathroom Lights Rgulations

 Hi, Sorry I wasn't more specific with details of the lights. We're removing the single light fitting (a ceiling rose) and replacing the lighting with 4 individual downlighter spots; all 4 of which are designated suitable for use above a shower. 2 are only above the toilet and wash...

    Bathroom Lights Rgulations

:?: Hi, We want to fit replacement lights in our bathroom, using the existing on/off (pull cord) unit but replacing the single light fitting with 4 spotlights (suitable for all bathroom zones). My husband is quite competent to rewire the 4 spotlights from the single original light fitting...

    Coloured silicone sealant

I had real difficulty purchasing the mapie coloured grout originally ... even though Mapei had sent me samples it took me ages to find a supplier of the colour I wanted ... I wish I'd found 'europeanheritage.co.uk' when I had originally searched. I've just emailed them about supply. Thanks

    Coloured silicone sealant

Many thanks for all that information ... I think I might use my pale blue grout as it's only between 2 tiles [as the other 3 sides of the hatch can be in white silicone as they are beneath the blue tiles (a flat top/shelf) butted up to white tiles] ... so thanks 'leakydave'. For anyone...

Water not flowing through pipes from boiler

I've got the pump on full speed and I'm sure pump valves are open; I've also tried 'locking' the mid-position valve in mid-position. Yes there is a dribble of water when I take off the pump rotor bleed cover. This idea had crossed my mind ... now you've also suggested it I shall try it...

Water not flowing through pipes from boiler

The system is definitely full of water (plus a small amount of gurgling air!)

Water not flowing through pipes from boiler

Hi, Hot water/Heating/Boiler ... problem with water flow; any advice please: Boiler is 15 years old ... pump & mid-position valve are new. Our boiler fires up but turns off after a couple of minutes ... when the water in its pipes gets hot. If it's left to cool it will fire up...
