    Help with damaged floor

We had a burglary and they dragged the fridge (yes fridge) over the newly laid engineered oak floor. The scratches seem to be mainly just on the the lacquer (varnish?) and not through to the oak itself. What is the best way to fix this? Someone suggested T cut. Thanks

    Size matters

Yes an enclosure manufactured by Mitras specifically designed for a "3 phase meter installation" and approved by EDF but rejected by one of their jointers on site. See http://www.meterboxes.co.uk/content/METERBOXESmeterboxes.asp?TypeID=1&CatID=22 box 3rd from bottom IS0040

    Size matters

Has anyone used a meter box for 3 phase and had any problems with the size of the box? I have supplied an approved 3 phase flush mount box but have been told that they refuse to fit the service head as the box is too small.

1st fix in timber frame house

I am thinking of using plasterboard boxes and cutting the openings later. I will make detailed notes of where the cables should be with the hope of them actually still being there. Has anyone tried this method?

1st fix in timber frame house

When doing 1st fix for a timber frame house I use the noggin with steel back box screwed to it method, but I find that the tackers (plaster boarders) usually do the cutouts really badly or cover over them altogether and plasterers some times fill them in with plaster. Does anyone have the same...

    Is this correct

Thanks Holmslaw. It is 4 flats plus landlords, I was just too lazy to type all that. Does the Ryfield require an incomer kit. or does it connect directly from the head.

    Is this correct

I have been asked to quote to supply and fit a Ryfield dist. board for 5 flats. Is it not the case that, as the board fits after the head but before the meters, it is the DNO's responsibility to supply and fit?
