I have been on to Ideal and they think that it could be the stat in the boiler.Will i have to get a plumber to do this or is it a job i could do my self.What would be involved?

I live in a 3 year old house and the pipes are all plastic to the rads. Will this help reduce the build up of scale inside the pipes compared too copper pipes? I have fernox MB 1 Inhibitor in the system.How long will this last before i should drain down and refill?

The rads do get hot. I think it could be a sensor that is at fault. I will phone Ideal to see if they can help
